Homemade Granola, or Müesli (how the Swiss call it), is one of my favorite, easy breakfast go-to’s. It is so crunchy and full of flavor. If you love granola but don’t like the crazy amount of added sugars and preservatives most store-bought brands have, this easy and quick recipe will hopefully encourage you to make your own.

I don’t know what it is about granola, but I could eat it any time of the day. It just never gets old. I love to pair it with my plain Homemade Yogurt or simply with some almond milk.

I was on sports teams throughout my entire school time, and I remember that my Mom couldn’t feed my brothers and me enough. School and practice made us very hungry. Even after a full meal, we wanted a snack shortly after dinner. So, my Mom always had yogurt and Müesli on hand because she knew we wouldn’t last until morning without an evening snack before bed. Still, to this day, it is my favorite evening snack ☺️.

Nuts or no nuts?

I love the extra crunch the nuts add to this granola. But if you are allergic to nuts or don’t like almonds and pecans, leave them out or exchange them with a nut or a mixture of nuts of your preference!

This Homemade Granola – Müesli is so versatile. You can use a variety of different ingredients and experiment until you find your perfect match. And when you find your ideal mixture, please let me know. I’d love to try it myself ☺️
